I ran into him many times over the years after that and he always remembered my name and whatever we had been discussing on our last meeting. A brilliant, thoughtful man and a true Cape Bretoner who carried that attitude with him wherever he went."

  "I met Lloyd on my first visit to Earl Whynot and Associates at Scotia Square; it was likely in 1971. I was a "rookie printer" and he immediately made me feel comfortable. He put me at ease with his graceful manner and what was for me a very stressful situation he quickly made into an interesting and personal memory. Over the next forty years of my career there were many inter-actions between us, he was a fair and decent man. He never held his knowledge and experience over another person as others I'd witnessed. I know he had some troublesome health issues and I hope that he has found peace and rest. "
